Housing Older Women’s Support Services (HOWSS)

The HOWSS is a specialised housing and support hub for older women funded by the Department of Housing. Among other activities and services, the Brisbane hub offers engagement and education sessions for older women; provides volunteer peer support from people with lived experience; and information and linkages to other human service support agencies. There’s also an online Queensland-wide service navigation and support service for older women in other parts of the state who are facing housing challenges.  Time2Connect members who access any of the HOWSS services or information can register for Time2Connect time credits.
