We are deeply grateful to the Anglican Mothers Union Australia (AMUA) for their generous pledge of $80,000 to Anglicare Southern Queensland’s Youth Homelessness Accommodation Project.
AMUA’s support, will help us furnish six one-bedroom units suitable for young couples and families experiencing homelessness. Through this donation, Mother’s Union will be ensuring that young families will have a place where they can rebuild their lives together, thrive as a family and restore their sense of dignity and dream of a future full of hope and possibility.
With our supporters, we’ll deliver urgently needed accommodation in the Logan region with wrap-around services to support young adults.
This project is not just about bricks and mortar. It is about building a new way of caring for young people, one that celebrates their strengths, nurtures resilience, and creates the space for them to thrive.
For more than 145 years, the Anglican Mothers Union Association has been committed to supporting families and fostering loving, respectful relationships through prayer and community outreach. Their generosity towards this project is a powerful extension of that mission — one that will change lives for generations to come.
