A day in the life of a Personal Care Worker

No two days are the same in our residential aged care homes. You’ll help residents live their day, their way – whether that means assisting with personal care, preparing meals, or simply offering a listening ear.

A typical day may include:

  • Helping with morning routines, personal grooming, and hygiene
  • Providing mobility assistance and supporting daily activities
  • Assisting with social events, from games and group activities to one-on-one chats
  • Helping with meals, light housekeeping, and laundry
  • Creating moments of joy and companionship for residents.
