The project was complemented by a research project carried out by a team of then University of Queensland Bachelor of Social Science students: Andrea Shabrokh, Daniel Hullick, Danielle Hugman and Mikaela Kerwin.

Their final report, Exploring The Interplay Between The Private Rental Sector and Complex Tenancies, discusses the findings from in-depth interviews with 12 Brisbane property managers regarding the challenges and barriers they face in sustaining complex tenancies.
