About QCSS funding
QCSS is a Queensland Government initiative designed to help individuals under 65 (or under 50 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people) live independently in their community.
Eligibility and application process
To qualify for QCSS, you must be:
- Under 65 years (or under 50 for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people)
- Not qualify for NDIS or My Aged Care services
- Require low-level support to maintain independence.

Complete an eligibility check
Step 3
If approved, arrange support services through an approved provider, such as Anglicare.
Is this funding option suitable for me?
If you need assistance with daily living tasks but are not eligible for NDIS or My Aged Care Services, QCSS may provide the support you need.
What’s included and not included?
Included:
- Personal care and hygiene
- Social support and community access
- Light household assistance.
Not included:
- High-intensity disability care
- Nursing or clinical support.
