Families can be complicated, but finding the right support and understanding can help you get back on track and focused on your future.
Program details
This free support service for young people aims to establish reconnection with your family when it is safe and practical.
If you are at risk of needing to leave home or have recently become homeless, we’ll help you find somewhere to live and try to make this arrangement stable. We can meet with you at your home, school, our offices, or another convenient place in the community.
We focus on addressing some of the factors that could lead you to becoming homeless, such as:
- Family changes or conflict

- Issues in the home environment that lead to thoughts of leaving.
We can help you:
- Attend informal or formal mediation with your family
- Access employment or training programs
- Stay in school
- Develop safety plans
- Seek support for mental health concerns
- Focus on self-care
- Access income (if eligible)
- Explore options to live with friends and family, or referrals to specialist services that provide safe accommodation.
- Learn daily living skills.
