Research Internships and Volunteering
The Research Evaluation & Advocacy team hosts postgraduate and higher degree by research internships, volunteering roles, and undergraduate research projects.
Students gain:

- Insight into applied social research and research capacity building
- Experience in how research supports service delivery across human services
- Exposure to research management and university partnerships across health, allied health and social research
We welcome students and volunteers across the humanities and social sciences, including Master of Social Work (Qualifying) student placements in research and evaluation. Previous students and volunteers have studied degrees relating to the social sciences, criminology, education, international relations, journalism, law and justice, media studies, and social work.
We have established ongoing internship and undergraduate research partnerships with The University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology, and the University of the Sunshine Coast.
