Creating a culture of safety and trust
Being a child-safe organisation means building a culture of care, respect, and vigilance. As an organisation that works with children and young people in many different ways, we take this responsibility very seriously. By embedding the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations into everything we do, we ensure that children’s rights, voices, and best interests are always prioritised.

Our commitment to child safety
Keeping children safe is a shared responsibility. Every Anglicare employee, volunteer, and partner plays a vital role in creating a safe environment where children and young people are protected from harm. We have zero tolerance for child abuse and neglect and are dedicated to prevention, early intervention, and strong safeguarding measures.
Anglicare is committed to promoting the safety and wellbeing of ALL children and young people through adherence to the 10 National Principles for Child Safe Organisations. We value children and young people and uphold their rights, acting to prevent them from being harmed and responding to any concerns related to their safety in a timely, ethical and child-focused way.
We invite you to read our Child Safety and Wellbeing Commitment Statement to learn more about our approach.
