Anglicare appreciates that many carers can experience stress being responsible for a loved one’s safety, accommodation or medical requirements. It can also be difficult to deal with dramatic and subtle changes in a loved one’s behaviour. In the majority of cases carers often have to juggle the role of a carer around work, family and social commitments.

As a carer we know that often the last person you think of is yourself. We’re here to support you with any challenges you may be facing but also to just have a chat and see how you’re going. We run regular education and mentoring programs, group meet ups for carers and counselling services to help you take care of yourself and your loved ones.
