Taking time to talk can lighten the load.
When caring for a loved one it may be a challenge to find some time for yourself. Anglicare appreciates that many carers can experience stress being responsible for a loved one’s safety, accommodation or medical requirements. It can also be difficult to deal with dramatic and subtle changes in a loved one’s behaviour. In the majority of cases carers often have to juggle the role of a carer around work, family and social commitments.
As a carer we know that often the last person you think of is yourself. We’re here to support you with any challenges you may be facing but also to just have a chat and see how you’re going. We run regular education and mentoring programs, group meet ups for carers and counselling services to help you take care of yourself and your loved ones.
We’re here to support you, and the loved one you care for to live the life you want.
If you would like more information on our respite care services or would like to have a chat about how we can support you, please give us a call on 1300 610 610 or use the contact form below. We’re ready to work with you.
