Your home, your independence, your safety.

A few small changes to your home can make a big difference. With thoughtful modifications and expert maintenance, we help you create a home that supports your independence, giving you freedom, comfort and confidence.

Home maintenance

Keeping your home in good condition can become challenging over time. Our maintenance services help ensure your safety and wellbeing at home by taking care of essential tasks, including:

  • Changing lightbulbs
  • Cleaning gutters
  • Essential pruning and yard cleaning
  • Lawn mowing
  • Changing smoke alarm batteries
  • Repairing internal flooring and external access hazards
  • Cleaning at a safe and suitable height around the home.

Please note that our services focus on safety and essential upkeep rather than home beautification.

What we don’t cover

Some tasks are outside the scope of our services, including:

  • Installation or removal of garden beds
  • Maintenance of watering systems
  • Tree removal
  • Pergolas, decking, and repainting
  • Swimming pool maintenance
  • Roof repairs
  • Work that is the responsibility of a landlord.

Home modifications

If you need modifications to make your home safer and more accessible, we can work with you to design and implement practical solutions.

Our services include:

  • Lever taps and easy-grip door handles
  • Handheld shower roses
  • Pathways into and around the home
  • Grab rails in bathrooms
  • Chair lifts and wheelchair platform lifts
  • Widening of doors and passages
  • Installation of emergency alarms
  • Ramps for easy access.

Please note that modifications must be clinically justified and align with your age-related care needs. We do not offer floor-to-ceiling handrails or bidets under CHSP funding.
