A unique approach to support children with social and emotional challenges.
If your child needs extra help with social interactions, self-expression and emotional regulation, these programs create opportunities for growth and connection.
Program details
Our Child Social and Emotional Wellbeing programs are led by evidence-based approaches. Most of our programs are facilitated in group sessions, typically at schools, kindergartens, daycare centres and community centres. However, we can design programs to be delivered in one-on-one settings that can be accessed from our office or from your home.
Our programs are designed to support children from infancy to 12 years of age, however we can support young people up to the age of 18.
Our programs include:
- Drumbeat – a drumming program to help young people understand their emotions

No, there are no costs to participate in Child Social and Wellbeing Programs. The Children and Parenting (C&P) programs are funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services.
How many sessions do I have to attend?
Your participation is voluntary and you can stop attending at any time. We generally work with families for up to six months or until their goals are met. If you wish to stop earlier, please let your case manager know. If you miss three visits, or we can’t contact you after three attempts, we will close your case.
Can I re-engage in the future?
Yes, you are always welcome to re-engage by contacting the team when you are ready.
Why is this program not available in my area?
