Our Support Services Workers (also known as domestic assistance / cleaners) provide essential support to seniors, ensuring their homes remain clean, safe, and welcoming. From housekeeping and laundry to meal preparation and shopping, your role helps older Queenslanders maintain their independence and live well in their own homes. In our Residential Aged Care homes, your work ensures that our residents enjoy a clean, comfortable, and homely environment.

A day in the life of a Domestic Assistant

A typical day may include:

  • Laundry (washing, drying, folding)
  • Vacuuming, dusting, and general housekeeping
  • Meal preparation and grocery shopping
