We are a child safe organisation“A Child Safe Organisation is one that creates a culture, adopts strategies and takes action to promote child wellbeing and prevent harm to children and young people.”

– Australian Human Rights Commission 2019 –

Anglicare Southern Queensland is a large organisation that interacts with children and young people in lots of different ways. That is why it takes all members of the Anglicare team to keep children and young people safe.

What does it mean for Anglicare to be a Child Safe Organisation?

Anglicare is committed to promoting the safety and wellbeing of ALL children and young people through adherence to the 10 National Principles for Child Safe Organisations. We value children and young people and uphold their rights, acting to prevent them from being harmed and responding to any concerns related to their safety in a timely, ethical and child-focused way.
