To care for someone to 100% of your ability, you need to feel 100% too. And that means taking some time to recharge your batteries and focus on yourself every once in a while. It will improve the quality of life for both of you. And while we could never replace you, we can provide experienced qualified Anglicare staff, nursing and care support workers who will ensure the social, emotional, cultural and spiritual needs of the person you are caring for are met, with respect for their dignity, self-worth and individuality.
Often the people dedicated to looking after those they love neglect their own lives or find themselves missing out on things because of their commitment to caring. That’s why Anglicare Southern Queensland has extended our hours of support, to give carers like you the flexibility to live the life you want and time to pursue your own personal goals.
We’re here to support you, and the person you care for to live the life you want.
