COVID-19 Response

Protecting the health and safety of our community.

Service procedure updates

Updated Thursday 19 January 2023

The Queensland Government has this week de-escalated the COVID-19 traffic light signal from Amber to Green which means there are low rates of community transmission and that Queensland is not in a COVID-19 wave.

What does this mean for visitors in our Residential Aged Care homes?

– Visitors will still need to continue wearing surgical masks with a review in three weeks.
– There is still screening that needs to be done in line with the Department of Health and will continue as per visitor kiosks.
– Visitors will still need to undertake Rapid Antigen Testing (RAT tests) as per Department of Health Guidelines. If you are a regular visitor, you will only need to have two RAT tests done each week.

We would like to stress the importance of staying home if you are unwell and to continue practicing good hand hygiene so we can protect your loved ones.

We thank you for your continued patience and understanding and please feel free to reach out to our staff if you have any questions or concerns.
