Anglicare welcomes Chloe as Director of Client Experience

Recently Anglicare Southern Queensland welcomed Chloe Henry as the new Director of Client Experience.

Chloe spent the past three-and-a-half-years as the Director of Consumer Experience at the Mater and is excited about making a positive difference at Anglicare Southern Queensland.

The proud mother-of-three has 14 years’ experience as a senior leader developing customer strategies that have transformed the experience for consumers across a broad range of industries. Starting her career in marketing has provided Chloe a wealth of knowledge around understanding consumer behaviour, value propositions and segmentation.

“I went to South America for a year and worked in an orphanage for a little while over in Peru and did a lot of volunteer work and discovery and it probably ignited my passion that I already had for helping others,” she said.

“I really loved working in an orphanage but also seeing the world and how fortunate we are in Australia and so I came back pretty fired up about the world.”

Chloe then returned to News Limited for a short while afterwards and then spent a year in London before commencing at the Bank of Queensland in Brisbane in the marketing department before taking on Senior Manager for Customer Experience. She remained at the Bank of Queensland for close to seven years until November 2018.

“It was an absolute fabulous organisation. The Bank of Queensland was particularly very consumer centric,” she said.

At the end of 2018 Chloe joined the Mater where she developed the Consumer Experience Strategy for the Mater Group, working across four different Ministeries including Mater Education, Mater Foundation, Mater Research and Mater Health bringing together a strategy that shifted the organisation towards consumer centricity, adding value to products and services based on insights.

“It was then that I really knew that I wanted to make a difference in the health sector and how I could help really bring those corporate skills through not-for-profit clinical care. I could see the disconnect there,” she said.

Chloe commenced her new role at Anglicare Southern Queensland in May, 2022.
